Karen has had strategic and global roles in Corporate Responsibility /Sustainability for companies including Vodafone and Thomson Reuters, driving innovation across the environmental agenda to improve performance. As a founder NED for the Institute for Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (ICRS) she is committed to promoting standards for the profession and excellence within the wider business community.
For 6 years she was Trustee at the Nationwide Charitable Foundation and was responsible for shaping the multi award winning strategy. She is now Vice Chair of MCS, a charity which promotes low carbon and renewable technologies in addition to having an oversight role on the trading company, a membership organisation which develops standards for the industry.
She now has a portfolio of roles which include advocacy for consumers, ethics and professional standards.
Karen is a Magistrate of long standing in the West London Area.
