PQM Process
The PQM application process is simple and the application form can be completed online.
What schemes qualify?
Any type of workplace DC pension scheme can potentially qualify for the PQM, including:
- Occupational schemes (schemes with trustees)
- Group Personal Pensions (GPPs)
- Group stakeholders
- Personal Accounts (from 2012)
Who can make the application?
You do not need to be a member of the NAPF to apply. An application can be made any of the following:
- employer
- scheme manager or secretary
- trustee chair
- any adviser or consultant representing the employer, scheme or trustees
What do I need to make an application?
To make an application you will need information to answer questions on issues such as contributions, governance and communications.
- You will also need to provide certain documents as supporting evidence.
- There is a one-off assessment fee of £250 and an annual licence fee of £250 for smaller schemes with 500 members or less and £500 for larger schemes. All fees are subject to VAT.
